 Athenes Player Notes v.1.2 Author:Athene | This is my second mod, made because I couldn't find any other mod filling my needs.
I'm sure you have experienced meeting some player, and you recognize the playername, but you can't remember what is so special about that player. It's really annoying, isn't it?
This mod will help you with that. The purpose of the mod is to let you save comments on other players, and then easily lookup any player for comments noted earlier.
There are several mods made for blacklisting people, but none of those I tried gave me any option of setting a player to 'neutral', none of them had any good way of telling me all the players saved, and none of them had any quick'n easy way of searching for comments on a specific player. This mod has all those options.
The information saved on each player is playername, class(handy for finding partymembers), level, comments, and wether the player is marked as liked\neutral\disliked.
All you have to do, is type the playername, comments and check for liked\neutral\disliked. The mod will try to find out the class and level by itself.
Up to 20 players will show at a time in the playerlist in the right frame, and a scroller will appear if the number of players exceeds 20.
It's also very easy to see in the playerlist who you like and dislike, as your atitude towards them will give an appropriate color (liked=green, neutral=white, disliked=red).
To use the mod, just install, and when you enter the game a frame called 'APN' will appear in the middle of your screen. Clicking on the 'APN' frame will open the playerlist, and by dragging 'M' around you will move both frames wherever you want them. The frame beneath, is where comments on your target will appear. Beneath that again, comments on any partymembers will shot up.
Oh and one last things: This mod should be compatible with any European language, but most texts will always show in English. My own client is German, which is why all the classes on the screenshot are in German. French client gives French classnames etc.
Fix list(things I hope to get fixed, but I wont guarantee anything):
- Improve the rules for when the mod will automatically try to update the playerlist
- Color playernames for wether it's friend or foe
- Note how many times you have grouped with a player
- Add guild note, in case you find out some guild tends to how alot of bad\good people
- Options for sorting for the playerlist
- Add target comments to the tooltip on other players, so that you dont have to target them.
