Tagline: Quickly set up a dynamic find/track spell list and cycle through it with a button press. So easy, it's EZ!


This addon is useful if you have more than one find/track spell and you want to toggle or cycle through them. You can cycle with a binding (key/button press), clear the list with a binding, and add spells to the list by alt-left clicking them in your Spellbook or Action Bars.

Supported spells are Track Giants, Track Hidden, Track Undead, Track Dragonkin, Track Beasts, Track Elementals, Track Demons, Find Herbs, Find Treasure, Track Humanoids, Find Minerals


For example..

Let's say your proessions are Herbalism and Mining, and you're in"gathering"mode. Clear the Tracklist, then alt-click"Find Herbs"and"Find Minerals"- now you can press your"Tracking Cycle"binding to toggle between the two.

Now, let's say you decide to go questing in a Demon-overrun area, but you want to be able to find Herbs too. First clear the Tracklist, then alt-left click"Track Demons"and then"Find Herbs".. and maybe"Track Humanoids"just in case you want to look out for any enemy players. Now, the"Track Cycle"binding cycles through all three of those.


Notes:

If you don't have any tracking enabled, adding a find/track spell to your Tracklist will cast that tracking spell.

If you either have no tracking enabled, or are using a tracking spell that's not in your Tracklist, and press the"Tracking Cycle"binding, the first spell in the Tracklist is cast.

Hooking the mousewheel seems to be the popular way of triggering addons that were once bound to movement keys. Since many users may want this functionality, it's in here. This works by latching on to CameraZoomIn() and CameraZoomOut(), which are by default bound to the mousewheel. By default, this hooking is disabled.

/cbt or /cowboyeztrack : this help text
/cbt list : list your current Tracklist
/cbt clear : clear Tracklist
/cbt add spellname : add spellname to your Tracklist
/cbt hook : toggle hooking mousewheel to cycle
/cbt cycle : cycle through the Tracklist
/cbt spellname [[, spellname] ... ] : cycle through only these specified spells
