 Item Magic Author:wbb | First, this is a very, very specialized addon. It lets you enter a Item ID (eg 4114) and then display the item description.
Enter"/itemmagic" or bind a key to display the input box. Now enter the Item ID and press enter. If the item is known by your WoW client it will display the description. If not, nothing happens.
In this case you can try to query the server for item description. Enable checkbox"Query server". Then the server sends information about the item, but only if the server has seen the item recently. If not you will be disconnected (most likely to happen for all legendary and many epic items).
You can hold shift + left-click the description to copy item into the chat. Be careful, you may have a item in your local item cache, but the server may not.

If you check the URL which shows details you can see the item ID, eg.http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=16731...Here the item ID is 16731.
