 QuestAssist Author:Kriknav | QuestAssist is my attempt to create a mod that replaces QuestMinion, but without having to add new elements to the UI. It is heavily based off of code from FastQuest and QT_Reloaded, and I want them to get the credit they deserve up front. The reason I did my own is because those two mods began implementing each other's code and I really felt that the two should be combined to save on Mod bloating. I also wanted to add things to the mods (more customizable options, options dialog, etc.) I also used examples from Atlas, CastParty and AllInOneInventory.
Usage:
Most of the configuration for this mod comes from the Options Dialog. To access it, either right-click the minimap button or use the slash commands"/qa" or"/questassist". Most things should be straight forward from that point, but here are some things that you should know:
-Left clicking the minimap button will Show/Hide the QuestWatcher if it has quests in it, else it'll show the QuestLog
-Shift + Left clicking the minimap button will always Toggle the QuestLog
-Shift + Right clicking the minimap button will Lock/Unlock the QuestWatcher
-Ctrl + Right clicking the minimap button will toggle the QuestWatcher Buttons on/off
-Left clicking a QuestWatcher button while chatting will link the Quest Title into your message
-Left clicking a QuestWatcher button while not chatting will open the QuestLog to that quest (or just select it if the QuestLog is already open)
-Shift+Right clicking a QuestWatcher Button will remove that quest from the QuestWatcher
Well you're probably wondering what this mod does, I'll attempt to list all the features:
-Adds Level to Quest Log
-Moves the Check Mark in front of the Quest Title in Quest Log
-Adds Minimap button to Show/Hide QuestWatcher/QuestLog
-Right-clicking the Minimap button shows the options window
-Minimap button is movable (Thanks to Atlas Creator)
-Option to reload QuestWatcher on login
-Option to toggle QuestWatcher movable (Lock/Unlock)
-Option to Color QuestWatcher titles based on Quest difficulty
-Option to Auto Add quests to QuestWatcher on progress
-Option to Auto Remove quests from QuestWatcher on completion
-Option to play sound and show UI Info message on quest completion
-Customize the QuestWatcher Quest Title the way you want
Possible Future Improvements:
-Remove objectives from QuestWatcher when completed
-Word Wrap lines in QuestWatcher
-Put Quest Objective status in appropriate Item/Mob Tooltips
